Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the examination calendar schedule for the year 2024. The data will be helpful for aspiring candidates as it will help them in preparing a study plan.
Staff Selection Commision is the organisation formed by Central Government to recruit staffs for various government sectors and ministries.
The Government of India formed SSC for conducting Examination and Interview for selection of staffs for various grades in Government Sector and Ministries.

About SSC
SSC formed based on the recommendation of Estimates Committee of the Parliament in 1967-68. Thus, based on the recommendations the official organisation SSC was formed in 1975.
The SSC majorly conducts the selection of the following
- Group “B” posts in the various Ministries/ Departments of the Govt. of India and their Attached and Subordinate offices.
- All non-technical Group “C” posts in the various Ministries/ Departments of the Govt. of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices.
Thus, it is a great option for the aspirants who want a government job. As SSC conducts more examination throughout the year for different recruitments, candidates can higher chance in getting through to the government jobs.
