Railway Recruitment 2023 is released for 100 Apprentice vacancies in seven divisions of the Eastern Railways. But note that the vacancy details are indicative and the actual vacancy will be available only after the final allotment.

Eligibility
The following are the eligibility conditions for the Apprentice for training in Workshops and Divisions in Eastern Railway under the Apprentice Act, 1961 and Apprentice Rules 1992, as amended from Time to Time.

Age Eligibility Requirement
The eligible age limit for Apprentice Recruitment in Eastern Railways is 14 to 24 years. Note: The Age eligibility is calculated as on the Cut-off date for receiving application.
But relaxation in age limit is given for the following category of people.

The Relaxation is Maximum Age Limit is extended as per the criteria below for different category of Candidates.

Educational Qualification
The candidates applying for the Apprentice Vacancy in Eastern Railways should have completed 10th Class Examination.
The candidates with the equivalent qualification to that of 10th Class Examination i.e., 10+2 System with a 50% Marks also can apply for the vacancy.
Trade Certification
The candidates with the above educational qualification should also posses the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.

How to Apply for Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2023
The online application for the Apprentice should done through the online portal. The Step by Step guide is as follows.
Step 1: Preliminary Stage – I
Select Trade and Fill up Candidate’s basic details including email id/ mobile No. etc. and Type of Disability (if any) and confirm.
Step 2: Preliminary Stage – II
An Email will be sent to the registered email id mentioning the registraiton number.
Step 3: Unit Preference’s Stage– III
Login with your registration number and password and select your Unit(s) in order of preference.
Step 4: Documents Uploading Stage – IV
Upload Photograph, Signature, Left Hand Thumb impression and relevant documents, if any.
Step 4: Payment Stage – V
Payment of Application Fees of Rs.100( if applicable)

The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of the merit list prepared based on the data details filled on the candidates on the online applicaion.
