Eligibility
SBI Circle Based Officer recruitment has following Eligibility Conditions. Please read the eligibility condition carefully before applying for the exam recruitment. Because your candidature will not be accepted if you do not comply with any one of the eligibility conditions.
Age Eligibility Requirement
The maximum eligible age SBI CBO is as below.
The Age of the Candidate Should be between 21 to 30 Years as on 31-10-2023 i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.11.1993 and not later than 31.10.2002 (both dates inclusive)
Relaxation in Age Limit
The Relaxation is Maximum Age Limit is extended as per the criteria below for different category of Candidates.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed Any Degree or its equivalent Educational Qualification approved by Central Government for Circle Based Officer recruitment.
The Educational Qualification should have been completed in a Government recognized universities.
Experience
Candidate should have Minimum 2 years’ experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 31.10.2023 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India.
Local Language Proficiency
The candidate should have a proficiency in the local language of the Circle he is applying for.
Thus, the candidates upon selection will be tested for the proficiency in local language.
But, Candidates who have studied the local language as a subject in 10th or 12th standard need not to take the language test.

The Application Fees for applying for SBI CBO is as below

SBI CBO Selection Process
The Selection Process for SBI CBO has three Stages as below
- Online Examination
- Screening
- Interview
Online Examination
The first stage of the selection process is Online test, which consists of objective type test and Descriptive paper.
(i) Objective Test
The objective test is conducted for 120 Marks and the duration of the test is 120 minutes. The test pattern is as given below.
There will be no Negative Mark for wrong answers in Objective Test.
(ii) Descriptive Paper
The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.
2. Screening
The candidates who have cleared the Online Examination will be screened based on the eligibility documents provided by the candidates.
The screening committee constituted by the bank will verify the details provided by the candidate in application with the document proof provided.
The merit list is then prepared for the eligible candidates for each circle.
3. Interview
The Candidates based on the Online Test and the merit list from the screening will be called for an interview.
The ratio between the vacancy in a particular circle and the candidates called for an interview will be 1:3.
The interview consists of 50 Marks and the candidates must get minimum qualifying marks for selection.
The Date and Time of interview will be provided to the candidates upon passing the examination.
Thus, the final selection will be based on the performance in the interview along with the score in Online Examination.
Other Instructions
- Read the official notification carefully before applying for the post.
- The candidates should submit the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer during Interview.
- Take a copy of the Application and Payment Receipt upon the final submit of the application for future reference.
- Have additional physical copy of passport size photograph uploaded in the application for future requirement.
- The intimation for examination and Interview will be given through SMS and E-Mail, thus keep tab of the both.
- The candidates selected will have to service a probationary period of 6 months. Upon completion of the probationary period, the bank will confirm the employee based on the performance of the candidate in this period.
